This Winter I got an issue with SPID rotor when outside temperature was below zero. Found out that the problem is inside an electrical motor enclosure. There is a drain hole but not helping much if water frozen inside. To solve that I put a protection above the rotor….just a plastic bucket…..and hope for no more trouble with it.
