After a long time a silence on 23 cm finally today I got a twice contact with Marek SP4MPB on 23 cm. QSO in CW and later evening on SSB. It is my first contact with SP and KO03 is a new square.
1st June 2018, 144 MHz, only a one QSO during Es opening with UA3WM Vladimir in KO72qi, QRB=1828 km. Did not heard any other station.
Today manage a QSO with OZ1FF Kjeld on 3cm tropo, QRB 287 km. The station was placed on balcony with very restricted horisont. He had very strong signal up to S9 and I got report 559. This is my new square #8.
Finally a new DXCC entity in log. Worked Z60A on 10 & 14 MHz, CW mode.
Today, Tore LB2S, finished installation of the 10GHz beacon. The bacon is placed on the mast at local club, LA9K JO48ad. QRG is 10368.870 MHz, sending CW msg, power about 1 watt and antenna is a horn in direction South. We hope the beacon will help us to be heard down in Europe and they
Finally upgraded my portable 10 GHz station with more output power. DB6NT 2 W amp replaced with 8 W amp from DL2AM. Old 2 W amp, will be used later for 3 cm beacon New 8 W amp fit nicely at place.
Unfortunately, due to unexpected family activities I was not able to be QRV during almost all my stay in SP. But I´m happy to get a contact with Marcel SP2HMR living in Gdansk, JO94HH. During my last two days stay here we tried to get a tropo QSO on 3cm. Marcel has very restricted QTH
My summer holiday in SP has began today. First stop is JO94DL96MM90 QTH: Koleczkowo, about 160m asl. 3cm station is set up ready and got at once beacon SR2XHG located in JO94II, QRG: 10368.883 MHz, QRB about 30km.
