My name is Jerzy and thanks for dropping in. I am very glad you are surfing around here so I would like to take this opportunity and present myself.I have been a radio amateur since 1969. My first SWL signature was SP8-1871 and a short time after I got SP8DXL. After 1976 I used SP2DXL and since 1988 I am LA4YGA. From 2024 I am also as SP2DXL when visited Poland.My QTH is Kristiansand, in the south part of Norway, WW locator is JO48be. My favorite subjects in HAM radio are VHF/UHF propagation and construction of RF equipment.

My summer holiday in SP has began today.  First stop is JO94DL96MM90 QTH: Koleczkowo, about 160m asl. 3cm station is set up ready and got at once beacon SR2XHG located in JO94II, QRG: 10368.883 MHz, QRB about 30km. Unexpected tropo to G/GM

This morning, unexpected found tropo path to G/GM. Did 7 QSO´s and best QRB was 1128 km with G4RRA. Signals were stronger from GM direction, as predicted by F5LEN forecast.   Tropospheric propagation forecast by courtesy of F5LEN
