The annual Geminid meteor shower peaked night, Dec. 13-14, as Earth passes through a stream of gravelly debris from comet 3200 Phaethon. This year activity on 2m band was much better then last year so I decided to look for new sqr´s for me. During 4 days, Dec. 11-15, worked 23 sqr´s: KP13, JN49, IN78, JO01, JN16, KO48, KO59, KO16,
After some years outside, my ICOM AH4 with a short wire, did a strange noise so I decided to checked it. When opened it saw this! Waterproof ? I don’t thinks so ! Probably up to 1 liter of water inside.
An active European windstorm caused extreme weather event named “Desmond” in UK and Ireland. In Norway got a name “Synne” which brought exceptionally heavy rainfall to much of West-South part of Norway. High winds up to 30 m/s did a lot of damage. I was lucky that only top antenna for 23cm got a some minor displacement.
November 02 – 03, good tropo condition gave me 3 new squares on 70cm and 1 on 23cm. My standings updated, see page STANDINGS
Today did a QSO with SM7LCB, Ulf in JO86GH. This is my number 6 on 23cm.
